The Cannon Trust curriculum focuses on areas of technical application of property law, tax law, trust instruments, fiduciary law and regulations, and estate planning and wealth management principles. 

The Cannon Trust curriculum is consistent in complexity and designed to build in content from one course to the next leading towards the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor™. 

 

Cannon Trust Fundamentals

This course is an introductory course in trust and is not mandatory.

This course begins a three-part series in the technical competencies and skills required to perform complex trust administration responsibilities. We encourage you to have at least six-twelve months of related experience before beginning taking this course.

This course is the second course in the three-part series. Participants must have successfully completed Cannon Trust I before registering for this course.

Cannon Trust III

This course is the final course in the three-part series. Participants must have successfully completed Cannon Trust I and II before registering for this course. After completion of this course, participants are prepared to take the CTFA™ designation exam.  Note, there is an application process for the CTFA™ designation.
