Continuing Educations/Looking for Courses with CE Credits Looking for Courses with CE CreditsProfessional certifications and a commitment to continuing education are crucial to maintaining professional standards and limiting liability. The professional certifications attained through our career programs and our continuing education credits have been recognized throughout the industry as the pinnacle of financial services education. Cannon Courses qualify for continuing education credits with many certification and licensing boards listed below. Since credit hours, filing procedures, and filing deadlines vary by discipline, and sometimes from state to state, if you wish to use a Cannon Course for continuing education credit, please contact our Continuing Education Department at 706-389-7645 today and we will be glad to assist you.
If your designation or certification is not listed above, you may still apply Cannon Course hours for credit. Contact our office and we will be glad to assist you in obtaining approval where applicable. Continuing education credits are also available for professionals in the following disciplines: CPAs/ENROLLED AGENTSCannon is designated as a qualified education sponsor by the IRS and can offer continuing education credit to Enrolled Agents. Cannon's agreement with the IRS' Office of Professional Responsibility is that Cannon will meet the requirements of 31 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 10.6(g), covering maintenance of attendance records, retention of program outlines, qualifications of instructors, and length of class hours. This agreement does not constitute an endorsement by the IRS as to the quality of the programs or their contribution to the professional competence of the enrolled individual.
Cannon Financial Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
